ABOUT US Sansevieria Films was
founded in 2003 near West Mansfield, Ohio, USA. We completed
our first feature in 2005, and since then, have released
several short films, which are available on YouTube, and will
be available on DVD soon.
Blake Hutchison Blake Hutchison is the founder of
Sansevieria Films, as well as the director of "Finding a
Dream" and most of the films currently released by Sansevieria
Films (until we can get more directors!) As an actor, he has trained under
Richard Mason in Columbus, Ohio, and Patti Speelman in Piqua,
Ohio. As a filmmaker, he has trained under Tammy Kinsey, Holly
Hey, and Dyrk Ashton at the University of Toledo, and was once
a member of the defunct Columbus Filmmakers Consortium with
Peter John Ross and John Whitney. He has been writing screenplays since
the age of sixteen.
Cherie Hutchison In addition to being Blake's mom,
Cherie Hutchison has a fairly extensive resume as well. She
was a dancer on the television show "Midwestern Hayride" as a
teenager during the 1950s, and plays Jill Sweeney, the advisor
for the fictional Rutherford University in "Finding a
Dream."
Topher Kopchak
Topher Kopchak joined the Sansevieria
Films team in 2005, when "Greeting Card Conspiracy" and
"Auditions from Hell" were filmed. He has also worked on
several collaborations with Blake Hutchison and is currently a
co-producer of "Messing With Humans 3", which is slated for an
August 2008 release
Dan Vermillion Dan joined Sansevieria Films in 2007
with the release of "Secrets and Deceptions." He has also
appeared in Blake Hutchison's student project "A Film
Student's Life". Want to join the production staff? It
